Accession Day Tribute, TS Penn and The Freedom of Portland

Pupils from S4 gave up their time to represent Portland and IPACA at the Accession Day service on Saturday 6th February at 1pm.

Afterwards, the High Sheriff, Captain of the Naval Base, Mayor of Portland and MP Richard Drax passed on their thanks to IPACA and told one of the pupils how much they had all enjoyed the fantastic performance by the Year 4 pupils.

Mrs Fryer, Mrs Thomas, Mrs Hayes, Mrs Gulliver and friends and family watched them all perform with pride.

The Accession Day Service on Portland was one of many services, held in every Church of England church today, throughout the UK

Other IPACA pupils were also present, representing various units of sea cadets,  as T S Penn were given the honour of the Freedom of Portland, then marched to the Drill Hall.

A proud day for Portland.

A proud day for IPACA.
