The Mayor of Portland, Sandra West, invited IPACA to be part of Ceremony of the Keys.
IPACA were represented as a guard of honour and also had a representative from every school singing ;including Discovery.
Miss Axford organised four Perryfield Pupils who acted as a Guard of Honour and helped the younger pupils.
Ms. Winsborough sang a duet with Mrs Fryer and then added impressive harmony to the Portland Community Singers performances.
Mrs Fryer put the Portland Community Singers together during the summer holidays and conducted and spoke at the service.
The Portland Community Singers sang Plovi Barko, The Portland Hornpipe and Sailing for Gold - A Portland Shanty written by B-Side artists.
After the service, pupils got to meet and chat with the Queen's representative - The High Lieutenant of Dorset.
The Portland Mayor, Sandra West, thanked IPACA for their part in the proceedings.
The High Sheriff is very interested in coming to IPACA for a visit. Mrs Winsborough, Mrs Fryer and Rosie spent time explaining about our Academy and the new buildings at Maritime House.
