We completed our identity cards and wore special address labels to ensure we were looked after and safe.
Equipped with our essential belongings we took a long walk to our destination. It was hard work carrying our belongings but we knew not to complain!
When we arrived at our destination we had to look smart and wait for the billeting officer to escort us to our families.
We arrived in the country where we were told to hand over any photos of our families so we didn't get home sick.
We then had to be de-liced and sprayed down (the country folk won't want bugs in their homes from us city kids)
