Today in West Base 2 we explored the different types of sentences. We learnt that a clause is a whole sentence or part of a sentence. A main clause always has a verb and makes sense by itself. A subordinate clause does not make sense by itself, it adds meaning to a main clause.
We also looked at classifying words from a sentence into four categories, adjectives, nouns, verbs and adverbs. We all enjoyed watching this video to help us -
